The Jagiellonian University is a public research university in Kraków, Poland. Founded in 1364 by King Casimir III the Great, it is the oldest university in Poland and one of the oldest universities in continuous operation in the world. The university grounds contain the Kraków Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 

Łódź University of Technology was created in 1945 and has developed into one of the biggest technical universities in Poland. Originally located in an old factory building, today it covers nearly 200,000 sq. meters in over 70 separate buildings, the majority of which are situated in the main University area. 

Lublin University of Technology is an engineering university in Lublin, Poland. It was established on May 13, 1953, and currently has 7,787 students.   

Maria Curie-Skłodowska University is a public research university, in Lublin, Poland. It is named in honour of Marie Curie-Sklodowska. The University was founded on October 23, 1944, by the Lublin Committee during the Second World War. 

The Medical University of Białystok is a medical university located in Białystok, the capital of Podlaskie Voivodeship in northeastern Poland. 

The Medical University of Gdańsk is the largest medical academic institution in northern Poland. It educates more than 5,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students in four faculties. 

The Medical University of Lodz (MUL) is one of the best Polish medical universities and is currently the largest public medical school in Poland. MUL was founded at the beginning of October 2002 as a direct descendant of the Medical Academy and the Military Medical Academy of Lodz, which were established in 1950 and 1958 respectively. 

The Medical University of Lublin dates back to 1944 in Lublin, Poland. The university gained its autonomy in 1950. Over the years, new departments were added such as the Department of Dentistry in 1973 .

The Medical University of Silesia is a university located in Katowice, Poland. The university has 10,218 students and a teaching staff of 1201, including 295 professors. There are five faculties: Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Public Health, Health Sciences. 

The Medical University of Warsaw is one of the oldest and the largest medical schools in Poland. The first academic department of medicine was established as far back as two centuries ago in 1809. 

Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń or NCU is located in Toruń, Poland. It is named after Nicolaus Copernicus, who was born in Toruń in 1473. 

Opole University of Technology is a university located in Opole, Poland. The university was founded in 1959 as a consultative branch of Silesian University of Technology. In 1966 it became an independent university known as Wyższa Szkoła Inżynierska w Opolu. The name Politechnika Opolska has been used since 1996. 

Pomeranian Medical University was established in 1948 in Szczecin, Poland. It is referred to as Pomorski Uniwersytet Medyczny in Polish. 

Poznan University of Medical Sciences is a prominent Polish medical university, located in the city of Poznań in western Poland. It traces its beginnings to the foundation of Poznań University in 1919, and was formed as a separate institution in 1950. It gained the status of university in 2007.

The Silesian University of Technology is a university located in the Polish province of Silesia, with most of its facilities in the city of Gliwice. It was founded in 1945 by Polish professors of the Lwow Polytechnic, who were forced to leave their native city and move to the Recovered Territories.
