Bergen Academy of Art and Design or KHiB was one of two independent and accredited scientific institutions of higher learning in the visual arts and design in Norway. It was located in Bergen, Norway. 

BI Norwegian Business School is a Norwegian specialized university that provides education and conducts research primarily in the fields of business and economics, marketing, strategy, management, and administration. BI is organized as a self-owned foundation whose sole purpose is teaching and research. 

Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences (INN University) is a state university in Norway that offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs. It was established in 2017 when Hedmark University of Applied Sciences and Lillehammer University College merged.

Kristiania University College is a private higher education institution in Norway that offers practical, work-related, and career-oriented programs. It was established in 1914 as Norway's first correspondence school. 

Lillehammer University College was a state university college located at Storhove in Lillehammer, Norway. It was merged with Hedmark University College to become the Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences in 2017.  

Molde University College – Specialized University in Logistics (MUC) is situated in the coastal cities of Molde and Kristiansund, on the northwest coast of Norway. Established in 1994 with a commitment to excellence in education and research, MUC offers various academic programs across various disciplines. 

The Norwegian School of Economics or NHH is a business school situated in Bergen, Norway. It was founded in 1936 as Norway's first business school and is the leading teaching and research institution in Norway for the fields of management and business administration. 

NLA University College is a private Norwegian Christian college accredited by the Norwegian Agency for Quality Assurance in Education. 

Nord University is a state university in Nordland and Trøndelag counties of Norway. The university has 11,000 students at study locations in Northern and Central Norway, with main campuses in Bodø, the capital of the county of Nordland, and Levanger, a university town on the south shore of the Trondheim Fjord. 

Noroff Education is a privately owned and operated university college and vocational school offering a variety of different study programmes including vocational programs and bachelor's degrees. 

The Norwegian Academy of Music is a university-level music conservatory located in Oslo, Norway, in the neighbourhood of Majorstuen, Frogner. It is the largest music academy in Norway and offers the country's highest level of music education. 

The Norwegian University of Life Sciences is a public university located in Ås, Norway. It is located in Akershus county and has around 7,700 students. 

The Norwegian University of Science and Technology is a public research university in Norway and the largest in terms of enrollment. The university's headquarters is located in Trondheim, with regional campuses in Gjøvik and Ålesund. 

Oslo and Akershus University College was the largest state university college in Norway from its establishment in 2011 until 2018, when it was transformed into Oslo Metropolitan University, the youngest of Norway's new universities. It had more than 20,000 students and 2,100 employees.  

Oslo Metropolitan University is a state university in Oslo and Kjeller in Norway. It is the result of the merger of many former vocational colleges in the Greater Oslo Region. It has around 1,400 academic employees, around 20,000 students and around 800 administrative support staff. 

The Oslo National Academy of the Arts is a tertiary institution in Oslo, Norway, that provides education in visual arts, design and performing arts. It is one of two public institutes of higher learning in Norway that teaches in visual arts and design, the other being the Bergen National Academy of the Arts in Bergen. 

Østfold University College is a university college in Østfold county, Norway. It has campuses in Fredrikstad and Halden, and has around 7000 students and 550 employees.  

The Oslo School of Architecture and Design is an autonomous institution within the Norwegian university system. The School offers a unique research-based education with a strong international standing within the fields of architecture, urbanism, design, and landscape architecture 

Buskerud University College was a university college established 1 August 1994 and situated in Viken county, Norway. It merged with Vestfold University College on 1 January 2014 to form Buskerud and Vestfold University College. 

The University of Agder, formerly known as Agder College and Agder University College, is a public university with campuses in Kristiansand and Grimstad, Norway .

The University of Bergen is a public research university in Bergen, Norway. As of 2021, the university had over 4,000 employees and 19,000 students. It was established by an act of parliament in 1946 consolidating several scientific institutions that dated as far back as 1825.  

The University of Oslo is a public research university located in Oslo, Norway. It is the oldest university in Norway and consistently considered the country's leading university, one of the highest ranked universities in the Nordic countries and one of world's hundred highest ranked universities. 

The University of Stavanger is a public research university located in Stavanger, Norway. It was established in 2005 when the Stavanger University College received university status. The university is organised in six faculties. 

The University of Tromsø – The Arctic University of Norway is a state university in Norway and the world's northernmost university. Located in the city of Tromsø, Norway, it was established by an act of parliament in 1968, and opened in 1972. It is one of ten universities in Norway.
