Tbilisi State Medical University (TSMU) is a medical university located in Tbilisi, Georgia. It was established in 1992 and has a rich history spanning over a century. TSMU has evolved to become one of the most significant universities in Georgia and Eastern Europe.

Additionally, TSMU is the only university in Georgia with 6 university clinics. The university also has a dedicated Clinical Skills and Multidisciplinary Simulation Center, where students get to practise their skills in a controlled and safe environment.

TSMU has trained more than 40,000 doctors, many of whom have successful careers throughout Europe, the USA, Asia, and more. Currently, the university has over 50 registered doctors in the UK. About 10,500 students are currently enrolled at this prestigious university, around 25% of whom are international students.

Tbilisi State Medical University doesn’t offer a graduate-entry pathway into Medicine or Dentistry but accepts student transfers.

Tbilisi State Medical University hostels suffice the requirements of international students, including well-furnished rooms with requisite facilities, and meal facility-breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

 Tbilisi State Medical University admission requirements include a score of 50% marks in PCB and English as a subject in Class XII. Theapplicant must be a minimum 17 years old. Also, you must have qualified the NEET of the year you’re applying in. University may conduct the interview to assess the speaking and understanding ability of Basic English language of the applicant.

• The applicant should be over 17 and below 25 years old on or before the date of admission.
• The applicant should be a high-school graduate or should hold an equivalent degree with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as subjects.
• The applicant should have secured at least 60% aggregate in all the above-mentioned subjects in 10+2.
• If the applicant falls under the category SC/ST/OBC, he/she must have secured at least 40% in all the above-mentioned subjects in 10+2.
• The applicant should clear NEET as it is mandatory for students coming from India.

Although TSMU doesn’t currently offer on-campus accommodation facilities, the university is located in Georgia’s capital, Tbilisi, which has many available rental options. On average, renting an apartment will cost you €300-500 per month.
